California Dreamin'
After dealing with a month of rain in NY, we decided to take a vacation to sunny San Diego. Our friends Amber and Logan were getting married out there and we thought it was the perfect excuse for a vacation. Plus, it was Jay's birthday and what better way to celebrate than in California.
For Jay's birthday I surprised him with a half day bike and kayak tour of the entire city. Our starting point was Mt. Soledad in La Jolla which gave us a 360 degree view of San Diego and the Pacific Ocean.
Children's Pool - No harbor seals this time of year!

PB (aka Pacific Beach) is a favorite for college students and young adults living the California dream. We biked along the 3-mile boardwalk and took in the sun and scenery.
La Jolla Cove is known for its sea caves. We kayaked to the sea caves and even paddled into a few of them - very cool!
Children's Pool - No harbor seals this time of year!
Coronado Beach - Rated one of the top ten beaches in the United States.
