The City That Never Sleeps

On a lovely fall afternoon, Jay and I decided to do some sightseeing in our home city. New York New York, it's a wonderful town.

We took the train into good ole Grand Central...a tourist spot for out-of-towners.

A picture of the rubble at Ground Zero. It's amazing to think that the Twin Towers once stood here.

Of course we had to stop at the famous San Gennaro festival in Little Italy. Crowds came to Mulberry Street to eat, drink, and be entertained.

Mangiare! Mangiare!

We caught the professional Cannoli Eating Contest. This is where competitive eaters gather to eat as many large cannoli as they can in a 6-minute period...never seen anything like that before.

The winner ate a total of 21 cannoli. Afterwards they gave the crowd free cannoli.

The New Year's Eve ball drop, neon signs, and underwear advertisements, Times Square has it all.

Radio City Music Hall

Rockafeller Center looks a little different without the enormous Christmas tree.

Who can name this cathedral?

Anyone remember absolut ads?

Michelle and Kyle's Wedding

It was a perfect day for the wedding, with not a cloud in the sky. We danced, ate, and drank all night long! Everyone had a ball. Congratulations Michelle and Kyle!

Gee Michelle, you look a little nervous.

Smiles all around!

We took pictures outside at Glen Island Harbor Club. It was absolutely beautiful.

What a good-looking family.

The bridesmaids looking pretty...

First dance as husband and wife.
