Galway

To get around the country we rented a car. Now you may think this is no big deal however in Ireland they drive on the left and the steering wheel is on the right (total opposite of United States).

Minus a few scrapes on the left side of the car, Jay did a great job driving.

Out B&B in Galway - another recommendation from Michelle N!

Eyre Square - the pedestrian park

It was so fun to meander the crowded streets in town, peeking in shops, and watching street performers.

In front of the Spanish Arch

Can anyone read Gaelic?

The River Corrib with the Galway Cathedral in the background.

The beautiful Galway Cathedral

My favorite meal throughout all of Ireland - fresh Seafood chowder with homemade brown bread.

Across the river from the Spanish Arch was Claddagh. This area is most famous internationally for the Claddagh ring.

A Smithwicks and Guinness to top off the night.
