The Ranch

Wild and crazy thing #1 = Jumping out of a plane at 120 mph

Skydiving at The Ranch in Gardiner, NY was an unbelievable experience. We jumped at 13,500 feet from a tiny plane to the Earth below us. If you like these pictures, we also have videos!

Getting ready for the jump...

Jay was a little nervous.

Yes, that's me upside-down.

Your first jump is always tandem, meaning there is a guy strapped to your back that you are trusting with your life.

We each had a freefall videographer jump out of the plane with us to take still pictures and video of our entire jump. These people are crazy!

I'm flying!

Thumbs up!

So happy to be on the ground!

Tarrytown, NY

After several requests by friends and family members to start a new blog, we have done it! This blog will be very different from our first blog since we will be living in NY for awhile. However, we will continue traveling, sightseeing, and of course doing some wild and crazy things.

Our new homestead...

1713 Crescent Drive
Tarrytown, NY 10591

Tarrytown has beautiful views of the Hudson River and Tappan Zee Bridge.

The area is famous for the folktale The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I use to love the story as a kid, and now I live where it takes place. Here is a famous statue of Icabod Crane being pursued by the Headless Horseman.
